Today was a long 23.6 mile day with
rain the last 3 hours and 45 minutes of trying to follow
the trail in darkness by headlamp. I am now dry and warm enough in the Rob
Hollow shelter. When I arrived there were (eerily) 5 headlamps in the middle of
a dark void. I was lucky to squeeze in as the 6th person in this six person
shelter full of 5 seems like 20 year olds.
I see that the last of them just turned out their
headlamp at 7:50. Not much to do here on the woods.
