Today was a hot 17 mile day but it ended with my much awaited reunion with Helen at Virginia Route 42 we are happy tonight and comfortable in our hotel in Roanoke.
No new trail names to add tonight as I met not one person either northbound or southbound in my entire 17 miles today.
Hooray! So happy that you two were able to meet without any problems. Have a great reunion.

Paul - Just learned you were section hiking the AT and was led to your blog. Congrats to you! Maybe you could add an RSS feed link to the blog so that when you do updates they come to those interested automatically. Easy thing to do with Blogger.
